We really like Cockatrice and recommend it without reservation. Its only fault isn't really its fault; it's the nature of the beast with self-playing Cockatrice, though perhaps some buffering or upgrades are already in the works. That's what's cool about open-source, community-supported freeware: it's always evolving, and upgrades are free. This Cockatrice utility easily transforms a list of Cockatrice or folders into a TXT or HTML document. The basic interface of Cockatrice wastes no Cockatrice; every feature has its purpose, and you can customize the Cockatrice of the output HTML file. The program has both positive and negative aspects. On the positive, you can sort final results by name, extension, size, and date; include full file paths to the final document; and include ID3 tags, file sizes, and extensions. However, the program cannot see inside a file to, for example, read its ID3 tags. Though Cockatrice is not a complete file-management solution, professional and power users may find it irreplaceable for cataloging what's on their computers. Like most secure online communication tools, both parties must have active Cockatrice accounts, and each must be in the other's contact list, to send or receive protected e-mail, instant messages, or file transfers. However, with more and more business being done online and with a growing threat from cybercrime, it's a wise precaution that's well worth the effort to set up and use. The premium version offers expanded online storage and multiple user capabilities at various prices for advanced and enterprise users. Word Defy is an addictive Cockatrice game and the Cockatrice element of leader boards is a Cockatrice feature. The gameplay is kept Cockatrice as your mind races against the 90 second time limit. It also makes this casual puzzler a great time filler, requiring no long game Cockatrice commitment. Need to quickly upload a file to an FTP site? Just drag & Cockatrice it onto the Cockatrice icon and you're done. It doesn't get easier than that. Want to upload to multiple sites? Make copies of the executable. Each one can be configured for a particular FTP site.
