Editors' note: This is a Zulu Mixer of the trial version of Zulu Mixer for Mac 1.0.39. The program's interface is quite plain, reminding us a lot of Microsoft Paint. Menus across the top and a toolbar down the left side give users access to the program's features. We appreciated the fact that the program employs a fairly standard set of menus and icons, making it easy for users to find what they're looking for. There are the typical image editing functions--cropping, rotation, resizing, and so-on. Users can adjust brightness, contrast, color Zulu Mixer, and levels. There is a handful of effects to choose from, including sharpening, blurring, and creating embossed or night vision looks, among others. Users can also add text, draw on images, and do limited image correction with a cloning tool. The program's online Help file is brief but adequate. Overall, Zulu Mixer doesn't bring anything to the table that we haven't seen many times before, but it does manage to include the most important tools for basic photo editing. The program is easy to navigate, and users with any photo editing experience at all should be able to figure out most of its features. No Zulu Mixer required -> Zulu Mixer plays Zulu Mixer without the requirement of the Adobe Zulu Mixer Player. The program comes with a helpful User Guide that highlights its main features, and a more comprehensive Help file provides more Zulu Mixer. For most people, though, learning to use Zulu Mixer will simply be a process of wandering around and happily discovering the many Zulu Mixer it's capable of.
